This new series of educational monograph is designed for practicing obstetrician-gynecologists who provide primary health care to women. Available quarterly, each monograph emphasizes the issues that ob-gyns must consider when treating women:
This monograph is designed to enable physicians to:
- Understand the pathophysiologic mechanisms that contribute to migraine and other headache disorders and their clinical significance
- Recognize the various types of migraine and other headache disorders
- Diagnose and classify migraine and other headache disorders and detect possible secondary causes
- Counsel patients about factors that can trigger migraine and other headache disorders
- Treat migraine and other headache disorders through a combination of pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic therapies

Self-assessment questions are included at the end of each monograph. 5 CME credits will be awarded per issue.
