Dyslipidemia Description
|
This monograph is designed to enable physicians to:
- Understand the pathophysiology and clinical approaches for the prevention
and management of dyslipidemia and coronary heart disease
- Monitor risk factors for dyslipidemia and coronary heart disease and
screen patients accordingly
- Counsel patients with dyslipidemia and coronary heart disease about
lifestyle factors that decrease risk
- Recognize signs and symptoms of dyslipidemia and coronary heart
disease
- Evaluate patients who have dyslipidemia and coronary heart disease
and initiate management
- Treat patients with uncomplicated dyslipidemia and coronary heart
disease and make appropriate referrals of more complicated cases
Self-assessment questions are included at the end of each monograph. 5 CME credits will be awarded per issue.
