Dyslipidemia Description
This monograph is designed to enable physicians to:
  • Understand the pathophysiology and clinical approaches for the prevention and management of dyslipidemia and coronary heart disease
  • Monitor risk factors for dyslipidemia and coronary heart disease and screen patients accordingly
  • Counsel patients with dyslipidemia and coronary heart disease about lifestyle factors that decrease risk
  • Recognize signs and symptoms of dyslipidemia and coronary heart disease
  • Evaluate patients who have dyslipidemia and coronary heart disease and initiate management
  • Treat patients with uncomplicated dyslipidemia and coronary heart disease and make appropriate referrals of more complicated cases
Self-assessment questions are included at the end of each monograph. 5 CME credits will be awarded per issue.
